The cream of the crop: aside from their gold-plated pins, the Gold JJ’s go through additional selection and processing during assembly. They test more consistently and sound markedly different from the standard JJ’s. They tend to offer a clearer, more detailed sound with better treble extension.
JJ Tubes are renowned for their quality, durability, and excellent sound. We selected JJ tubes for their outstanding tonal quality, airy highs and beefy mid-bass.
The JJ’s have a 10,000 hours life expectancy. Tubes will give you ample warning before dying: you may notice that one channel plays louder, slight distortion, discoloration, or some sparking inside the tube when you turn on the amp -this is not dangerous, but their end is near. Changing a tube is about as challenging as changing a light bulb.
All our tubes are tested and gain-matched to assure left/right channel integrity.
