    Choose between two JJ ECC99 tube options to fine-tune Billie’s sonic character. The JJ ECC99 Red, delivers a smooth, warm, and rich presentation with slightly rolled-off treble, full mids, and deep bass. It offers solid detail retrieval and soundstage width, with a more forgiving, relaxed tone.
    The JJ ECC99 Gold takes a more analytical approach—detailed, open, and dynamic, with extended treble, transparent mids, and tight bass. It presents a wider soundstage, heightened resolution, and an energetic, engaging character.

    I think you have a great sounding d class amp I’ve got it hooked up to a Metrum Acoustics ONYX Balanced NOS DAC amd Project cd transport to my Two 18 Amphion speakers with cardas wires it produces a unique sound I would say a Billie sound (I use to be a tube guy till I heard the spartan ) speechless

    The build quality, sound and power output of this integrated amp is comparable to much more expensive amps. I listen mostly to jazz and classical and the Billie produces tremendous warmth and depth that is very satisfying and easy to listen to for hours. The hybrid combination of tube preamp and class D amp has been implemented to perfection by Heaven 11 in the Billie.
